Scan or search and the item is on the bill. Tested with 5 lakh items: search in about 1 ms, bill saved in about 2 ms.
Counters that talk to each other
Bills, stock and prices move between counters in seconds over the shop's Wi-Fi or router, with no internet needed.
Cloud backup and restore
Data syncs to the cloud every minute when online, with 30 days of daily backups. A new or repaired PC is restored from the cloud.
Staff PINs and roles
Owner, Manager and Cashier logins with a 4-digit PIN. Cancels, returns and big discounts need a manager's PIN. Every bill shows who billed it.
GST or non-GST
GST invoices or simple bills. GSTR-1 export for the GST portal, Tally export for your accountant, and a profit and loss report.
Purchases and stock
Purchase orders, suppliers, expenses, stock counts and full stock history, so your profit is real.
Barcode labels

FAQ
WoowBill Retail questions
How many counters can I use?
Retail Standard covers up to 3 Windows PCs and Retail Plus up to 5. Counters and back-office PCs count the same. Your accountant's login is free and uses no PC.
What happens when the internet goes down?
Nothing changes at the counter. Every counter keeps billing, and counters on the same Wi-Fi or router keep sharing bills, stock and prices. The cloud catches up when the internet returns.
Can I stop cashiers from cancelling bills or giving big discounts?
Yes. Each staff member has a 4-digit PIN and a role. Cancels, returns and discounts above 5% need a manager's PIN, and every bill shows who billed it.
Does it work for a non-GST shop?
Yes. Make simple bills without GST. When you register, turn GST on and export GSTR-1 for the GST portal.
How big a shop can it handle?
We tested one shop with 5 lakh items and 20,000 bills. Billing search took about 1 ms and saving a bill about 2 ms.
Can my staff practise before going live?
Yes. Retail has demo shops for 14 shop types with sample items and bills. Staff can practise there without touching your real data.
